About ChatInfra
ChatInfra hosts AI agents, and we’re building an AI back office for owners who run their business themselves, starting with real estate. It isn’t available through self-service sign-up.
The founder
JP Gagne, Founder & CEO
JP has worked on AI agents full time since March 2023. From June 2024 to August 2025 he worked mostly with Scott Mueller, his former Bare Metal Cloud partner, on a research project that became Sup AI; he left it in September 2025 and has worked on ChatInfra alone since November 2025. Calbot has served a customer since 2023 and became part of ChatInfra in 2025.
Before ChatInfra, he built an email service provider from scratch that sent billions of emails, and turned a small hosting business he bought into one of the first hourly bare-metal clouds. The two companies ran side by side.
Bare Metal Cloud
NewServers, Inc. · Founder & CEO · Sep 2007 – Jun 2018
An hourly bare-metal cloud that served 3,000+ customers and earned about $12M in lifetime revenue. From 2008 it offered hourly-billed dedicated servers with automated provisioning and an API. JP named it Bare Metal Cloud in 2009. In 2018 he wound down the hosting business and moved its customers to another provider.
